Last week, in the village of Celaru, Dolj County, participants completed their training as housekeepers under the “CURSIV – Reliable Resources for the Future” (SMIS Code: 154947) project. Supported by the European Social Fund through the Human Capital Operational Program 2014-2020, this initiative focuses on providing vocational skills to young NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training).
During the course, trainees mastered essential housekeeping skills, including cleaning techniques, the use of cleaning agents and equipment, and disinfection methods. Graduates are now prepared to work in homes, offices, public institutions, and hotels.
The project’s broader goal is to increase employment rates among unemployed individuals aged 16-29 registered with labor offices. This is achieved through flexible vocational training programs, which include introductory, requalification, advanced, and specialized courses.
